Meet Our Speech-Language Pathologist
Melissa Adler, MCD, CCC-SLP
Melissa Adler received both her Bachelor’s degree and her Master's degree in Communication Disorders from Auburn University. Melissa holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice in the state of Georgia.
Melissa has worked extensively with children with a variety of developmental disabilities in the areas of oral motor, childhood apraxia of speech, autism, augmentative and alternative communication, articulation, and receptive and expressive language in the private practice setting. She has been formally trained in the Beckman Oral Motor, Talk Tools®, PROMPT, and Language Acquisition through Motor Planning (LAMP) therapy approaches. She is also trained in LIPS® of the Lindamood-Bell® programs.
Melissa is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and helping them reach their fullest potential. When Melissa is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons.
